Crispy Chevelle

I was in Vancouver at the end of January. On my way to the hobby shop, a tow truck passed by me with this on the back. I thought it was a late '60s Impala until I got closer and then I realized it was a '66 Chevelle. It looks like it was in a shop/garage fire. It has a SS hood and looked like it had some very nice wheels. I stood there and watched the forklift take it off the tow truck. I came back later and took pictures.

Dusty Dart

I found this '69 Dart GTS the same time I found the '68 Charger (see previous blogs). They are actually about a block away from each other. Im positive you can see the Charger from this guys backyard. This car is a '69 Dart GTS. White, black stripe and interior. And it has a black hood with a six pack style hood scoop. Not sure on the engine or trans. Hasnt been licenced since around '2001.

Unknown Muscle Car

I found this car while I was riding around. Not exactly sure what it is. It was sitting under a car cover in a guy's backyard. Looks like its an AMX possibly??? What do you think it is? Leave a comment with your idea!

Hidden SS

I went on a huge car hunting trip over a 10km radius and found over 5 muscle cars. This being one of them. It's a 1970 Chevelle SS. I rode by it on my bike the first time and took the picture. I was sure it was a 1970 Chevelle but I wasnt positive. On my way to the movie store the next day, I rode my bike through the back alley behind the yard where it was and I was shocked. I found out it's a '70 Chevelle SS. Either that or a very well done clone. It has the stripes and the SS emblems. Its silver with the black SS stripes but its also covered in mildew and moss. Its deffintley been there for a while. It sits behind 2 pickups and infront of a camper.

Vanished Mustang

This '65 Mustang was right next door to me..literly 100 feet away. The owner of the car bought it as a parts car for his other '65. He finished the other one and then left this one to rot. I've lived in my current home for 6 years now and it was there the whole time...until last year. It had a 289. Had rear valance and rocker rot. Rear end was sitting up againest a dirt pile so I assume the rear frame rails arent that good. It dissapeared around September 2007. Then an older Ford Rancharo appeared about 8 feet from where the Mustang sat.

Poor Old '69 Judge

Not much of a story on this one. Back in November 2007, I went on a small vacation about 200 km's from my house. I drove past a carport/barn but didnt pay attention to it. The next day I headed into town to get something and I noticed an older Pontiac sitting in the same barn type building. I thought "oh cool" and kept driving. Well on the way back from town, I was coming the opposite way and thats when I noticed something. I saw the front of what seemed to be an orange '69 GTO Judge. I slowed down for a closer look and identified it, yes..it was a '69 GTO Judge! I didnt have my camera with me so I went back to the hotel. I thought about it the rest of the day and night. The next day I packed up and headed for home. When I got back to the area where the GTO was, I stopped on the side of the road and took a picture of the barn. The GTO is behind the plywood so you cant see it that well, if you look closely you can see some orange. Thats why I didnt see it when I went into town, because its hiding behind the plywood, but when I came back from town, the front fender and grille was in clear view! The car is behind the plywood and the bed frame. Its between the RV and the older Pontiac.

Destined To Rot

I used to live right down the street from this '68 Charger. Didnt think much of it; heck I didnt even know what it was until I picked up a '69 Charger. After I got my Charger I realized what it was and that it meant something. I checked it out and could of bought it for $4000 back in 2000. I passed as I needed the money for my '69. The owner of the house where it was sitting said it's been there for 3 years. The car had rusty floors and lower quarters but most of the upper body was fine. He also said it was a '69 R/T with a 440. But it had a '68 grille and fenders. I found that weird. Anyways, I moved away and came back every so often to check on the car. Well that was 8 years ago. And it still sits there to this day. The owner of the house actually isnt the owner of the car so I've been told. Apperentley, the owner of the car is the original owner. He left the car at his friends house (the house where I found it) and moved to Poland and basically forgot about the car. Its gotten worse over the years. Even though it has a tarp over it, it isnt helping. The roof is now rusty, around the windows is rusty, the quarters are rusty, the frame rails are rusty, the rockers are rusty, the floors are rusty, the fenders are rusty..everything is rusty and the interior is toast. It also has a locked up 383 in it. A friend of mine checked it out and after doing a vin and fender tag check, he found out its not a '69 R/T 440 but a base 318 '68. It also came original in R4 red paint. The owner of the house refuses to sell even though he admitted that his friend isnt coming back for it. I'm sure a large amount of money could buy it but thats just my opinion. I guess this one is destined to rot. Too bad.
